New for 2027, the Flight Recoil is Fluid’s next generation freeride water ski. It carries all the DNA of the Flight C, then adds more performance, more control and a smoother, faster ride.

Built in our own factory

Owning our factory lets us source and test the very best materials. Our team of dedicated skiers ran multiple material combinations and shape tweaks to arrive at our most advanced freeride ski yet. The Recoil has a full flat top deck, tunnel base, a slightly thinner profile and a 100% multi directional carbon fibre lay-up wrapped around a CNC machined hybrid PVC Paulownia wood core. The result is a ski that is lighter, more responsive and easier to ride at every level.

How the Flight Recoil rides

Expect a slightly softer, smoother and faster ride with more control when you push it. If you love the Flight C, the Recoil takes every one of its strengths to a new level.

Customisable binding placement

Everything on the Recoil has been tested, right down to a modified binding position. Extra hex based inserts let you fine tune your boot placement to suit your skiing style.

Fluid Onset Lace Adustable Front Water Ski Boot is now available in 2 sizes, designed for skiers looking for flexibility, comfort and forgiveness allowing for amazing lateral flexibility. Our new upgraded Closed Cell Foam Liner delivers a snug yet comfotable fit. Our Onset boot is a medium cuff design which gives you great support for the ankle, with a bungie upper lace that allows good mobility and ease of entry while the lower lace provides firm support, just crank the laces down to hold firm.
